During the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171) programme, PhD student Gazmir ÇELA from the University of Tirana, Albania, spent two consecutive months at the Department of Agroecology and Plant Production. During his mobility, he collaborated closely with Professor Vera Potopová on research focused on land-use changes under climate change conditions in the coastal wetlands of Albania.
In addition to working with meteorological data, he actively contributed to and gained hands-on experience in the use of satellite imagery for climate assessment from an agricultural perspective, expanding his methodological expertise. As part of his academic activities, he presented the obtained results during the “Advanced Meteorology” lecture for Erasmus students, where he shared insights from his scientific work and highlighted its contribution to both CZU research activities and his PhD studies.
At the conclusion of his stay, Gazmir ÇELA delivered a PowerPoint presentation on the Climate of Albania, his doctoral research, and the outcomes of his work at CZU, further strengthening academic exchange and knowledge sharing within the Erasmus+ KA171 framework.
