Long-term Traineeship
Selection procedure
Submit your application ideally 2 months before departure! In the case of late applications, it may not be possible to provide financial support for the mobility.
The application consists of a cover letter and CV in English. The cover letter must specify the institution and exact dates of the traineeship. Please ensure that the institution you choose is related to your field of study. Please send your application to the faculty coordinator for Erasmus+ traineeships.
Before mobility
What are the steps at the faculty?
- Application
You need to fill out the application form electronically, print it out, and sign it by hand. Please send the scanned application form to the faculty coordinator, who will sign it together with the vice-dean. Based on the application form, your mobility will be registered in the UIS. The coordinator from the central IRO will take over the application form and add it to the checklist.
- Learning agreement (LA)
The LA is completed by the student and the receiving institution. After completion, please send it to the faculty coordinator for verification of the information provided before signing. Once approved by the coordinator, the LA signed by the student and the host institution must be sent back to the faculty coordinator. The coordinator will sign the LA and send it to the central IRO for signature.
Below you will find instructions on how to fill in the LA correctly:
Level of education (EQF level) – Fill in according to your level of study:
- Bachelor – 6
- Master – 7
- Doctoral – 8
Field of education – Fill in the ISCED code for the field of study of your traineeship. Use the appendix below to select the appropriate ISCED code.
Before the mobility
Table A is completed by the receiving institution. The number of working hours must correspond to full-time employment in the given country (approximately 38-40 hours). The fields "Detailed program of the traineeship" and "Knowledge, skills, and competences to be acquired by the end of the traineeship" must be described in at least a few sentences.
Table B is divided into two parts:
- The first part is to be completed only by students going on a compulsory traineeship – please fill in the number of credits (ECTS) and tick the box according to the template below:
- The second part is to be completed only by students going on a voluntary traineeship – please fill in the number of credits (ECTS) as agreed with the faculty coordinator and tick the box according to the template below:
- Next step with the central IRO
After submitting the complete application and LA, you need to complete the last few steps regarding insurance and the Grant agreement for participants with the traineeship coordinator from the central IRO.
- For PhD students: Request for an extraordinary faculty scholarship
PhD students can submit a request for an extraordinary faculty scholarship of CZK 10,000 for a mandatory internship once during their studies. Please send the completed request (attached below) to the faculty coordinator.
PhD students have the opportunity to go on short-term (5-30 days) or long-term (2-5 months) internships. More information can be found here.
Traineeship for Recent Graduates
Selection procedure
It is necessary to submit your application before the date of your final state exams! In the case of late applications, it will not be possible to provide financial support for the mobility.
The application consists of a cover letter and CV in English. The cover letter does not have to specify a particular institution or exact dates for the internship. Both pieces of information can be added after your final state exams. The mobility, including your return, must take place within one year from your final state exams. Please ensure that the institution you choose is related to your field of study. Please send your application to the faculty coordinator for Erasmus+ traineeships.
If you are unsure, we recommend that you submit your application! You can always cancel your application, but unfortunately you cannot reapply later.
