A group of twenty-six talented students from the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar (HAU) have completed their two-month study stay at CZU. The visit was financed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous government organisation for research at agricultural universities and institutes in India.
The students of agriculture and food production from Hisar partook in lectures and training sessions at most facilities and faculties of the CZU.
During the closing ceremony at the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources (FAFNR) on March 21, 2023, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Josef Soukup, and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Michal Lošťák, presented certificates of accomplishment to the students in the company of the esteemed Hemant Harishchandra Kotalwar, Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic. The visiting HAU students experienced the high level of educational environment and the approach of our teachers as well as the spirit of friendliness at the CZU campus.
The students’ successful study stay is further proof of CZU’s renown in India and is a significant step towards developing partnerships in the region.
