Entrance examination
The entrance examination takes place in the form of a 20-minute interview in English to test the level of the English language (max. 30 points), motivation to study (max. 10 points) and knowledge required for the study of the programme (max. 60 points; see below).
Set date: 24 July, 2026 in Prague.
Alternative date: 28 July, 2026. For inclusion into the alternative date, an application must be submitted via email to iro@af.czu.cz no later than on the day of the set date of the entrance examination.
Applicants will receive an invitation to the entrance examination with information about the exact date and time at the latest by 21 July 2026 via the university information system at https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska.
On the day of the entrance examination, the applicant must present a valid official identity card (ID card, passport).
Admission assessment
Announcement of the results of the admission procedure: 6 August, 2026
Applicants whose GAP test score is at least percentile 40 may be admitted for study. Applicants are admitted in order of percentile score until the maximum number is filled.
The number of admitted applicants is limited by the capacity of individual study programmes:
a. Sustainable Use of Natural Resources: 60
b. Agriculture and Food: 75
The result of the admission procedure (decision on admission or non-admission to study the programme) will be delivered to the applicant via the University information system of CZU at https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska.
