A Christmas party for international students took place at the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources on December 8. The participants included international full degree Bachelor´s and Master´s students, incoming Erasmus students and Czech students who participated in Erasmus+ study programme abroad. The faculty management, the study programme guarantors and faculty staff involved in administration and marketing activities relating to international students were also present.
Following the official welcome from the Vice-Dean for International Relations, prof. Lenka Kouřimská, and Ms. Dagmar Brožová, a member of the International Relations Office, the study programme guarantors presented interesting research projects they are working on. And then there was time for the social games which were related to Christmas/New Year´s customs and traditions of international and Czech students.
This event was very well received by all students who perceived it as an important step in building an international community at the faculty and in fostering their integration into the CZU environment and the Czech culture.
