The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague will participate in the 50th annual international agro-salon Země živitelka 2024. 

Just as last year, CZU excels in the latest international Leiden Ranking, where it is the top university in the Czech Republic in two categories, and is ranked third out of ten Czech universities in terms of scientific quality.

Josef Dostál, a student at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, was among the 48 individuals honored by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, on the Day of the Establishment of an Independent Czechoslovakia on October 28, 2025, in the Vladislav Hall of Prague Castle. The sporting triumphs of the speed canoeist, who became a multiple world champion in kayaking, and an Olympic champion, and holds four other Olympic titles, are now crowned by a high state award, the Presidential Medal for Merit to the State in Sports.

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Academic Senate decided who would succeed the outgoing rector, Petr Sklenička, and lead CZU for the next four years.

On October 14, 2025, per the election schedule, the Election Committee of the Academic Senate of the Czech University of Life Sciences officially announces the candidates for the position of Rector of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
